On an autumn evening, when the wind danced wildly with the rain, I found shelter in a room with old iron fixtures and misty windows, while outside, nature unleashed its fury. In the midst of this chaos, I was surrounded by the quiet of the room, protected by the very elements that tried to bring me down. The soft glow of a table lamp cast warm shadows on the walls, while a hot drink warmed my hands.
It felt as though an invisible barrier had opened between me and the outside world, bringing an unexpected peace. In those moments, everything seemed under control. Floating in an ocean of calm, I found a deep connection with my own inner stillness. This state, which I called chrysalism, was a refuge, a protection, a place where there was nothing to do but feel and be.
At peace with this calm, I knew that despite the turbulent world outside, I had my own sanctuary—a place where even in the middle of a storm, I felt at home.
